Kerabari is on the Daraundi River. The Daraundi is typical of Nepal's monsoon rivers. It can be forded without major incident during the dry season, but becomes unmaneagable during the monsoon when it swells to dangerous levels. There had been three deaths and more than twenty people injured at this crossing. Villagers and students now use this crossing daily during the monsoon to reach markets, schools and colleges, health posts and district headquarters.
