The TarPul at Chakmake is one of a series of TarPul in Kavre District paid for by Nepal School Projects of Canada. There are no alternate crossings near the site at Chakmake, and an estimated 100 crossings will be made per day at this site. The bridges in Kavre District not only improve access to educational facilities for rural children, but they also provide benefits for all residents in the area in terms of access to healthcare, markets, and agricultural lands.
